A few hours after the confirmation of the rematch between Kamaru Usman e Jorge masvidal, guesses from athletes, fans and specialized press about the winner of the fight began. Number five in the welterweight rankings (up to 77kg), Stephen Thompson, was not left out and bet that, this time, the challenger will surprise and walk away with the belt, in the UFC 261. The North American accepted the invitation with less than a week to go before the event, replacing the Brazilian Gilbert Durinho, who tested positive for Covid-19.
