The heavy weight alistair overeem will be the next challenger Cain Velazquez, if the Brazilian wins Antonio Pezão at UFC 156, this Saturday (2). The person who confirmed the information was the president of Ultimate, Dana White, in an interview given in Las Vegas, the venue for the event.

Overeem returns to the octagon after a year and a month – his last appearance was in the victory over Brock Lesnar, at UFC 141, in December 2011. The removal was motivated by a nine-month suspension, suffered after the Dutchman tested positive in an anti-doping test.
