Confident, José Aldo says that his last rival is more dangerous than Frankie Edgar

Jose Aldo x Frankie EdgarThe Brazilian José Aldo defends the featherweight belt (up to 65,8 kg.) against Frankie Edgar, former lightweight champion (up to 70 kg.), next Saturday (02), in the main fight of UFC 156. Although the North American is considered the biggest threat to Aldo's reign in Ultimate, he guarantees that he sees nothing special in the characteristics of his rival.

“He doesn’t do anything different, he’s the same as every featherweight. I still think there are some fighters who are faster and better than him in this category, like Chad Mendes (his last challenger, at UFC Rio 2)”, said Aldo, at the press conference before the show.

The Brazilian also commented on how training with the North American went Gray Maynard, a fighter who has already faced his rival on three occasions, having been the first athlete to beat Frankie. “Gray helped me a lot. He has already adapted his time to the game Frankie Edgar, so it added a lot to my training”, added the Brazilian.
