Dana White claims Conor McGregor underestimated Dustin Poirier at UFC 257

the defeat of Conor McGregor for Dustin poirier, UFC 257, in January of this year, it continues to have repercussions on the organization. The company's president, Dana White, believes that the Irishman may have underestimated his opponent and entered the fight without being completely focused. The statement was given in an interview with the website 'BT Sport'.

“I don't know if there needs to be provocation or anything like that. But I think he underestimated Dustin, like, 'Let me just finish this and move on to other things' or something like that,” Dana commented.

It is worth remembering that, before the duel against Poirier, the Irishman considered returning to the boxing ring for a duel against the Filipino Manny Pacquiao. In fact, much of Conor's preparation was focused on a hypothetical duel against the legend of the 'noble art'.

In the history of the confrontation, McGregor and Poirier have already faced each other twice, with one victory each, and both have flirted with a possible trilogy between them.
