The victory over Thiago Marreta No. UFC 259 approached Aleksandar rakic the chance to compete for the UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg) belt. The new number two of ranking revealed who was satisfied with his performance against the Brazilian and already considers himself a symbol of the division. The Austrian also guaranteed that he will be champion of the category.

I'm a good guy, young, I'm hungry, I have a good record and I'm representing the sport in the best way. Believe me, I will be UFC champion”, declared Rakic, in an interview after the UFC 259.
Aleksandar rakic has a record of 18 wins and two losses. The Austrian is coming off two consecutive victories inside the Octagon. After the victory over Marreta, he took second place in the ranking light heavyweight, behind only Glover Teixeira, who should be the champion's next opponent Jan Blachowicz.
