The former Pride champion, Dan Henderson is confident in his victory over Rousimar Palhares, aka Toquinho, at UFC-88, which takes place on September 6th, in Atlanta, in the United States.
The Team Quest athlete, in an interview with the event's official website, stated that he will beat the Brazilian in striking and by knockout.
“I'm going to be a much more dangerous guy on the feet, which is where he (Toquinho) won't want to fight. So his mission will be to take me to the terrain he likes, the ground. And I'm not the easiest guy to take down. Therefore, the determining factor will be who will be able to defend the takedowns, who will apply the takedowns and whether I will be able to knock him out wherever I go” he stated
Hendo also minimized the Brazilian's arsenal, stating that Toquinho only knows how to finish
“Basically all Palhares has are submissions,” added Henderson.
