Weidman responds quickly and says he would fight Anderson Silva in Brazil

On Twitter, an American responds positively to the proposition of one of the Brazilian's businessmen

Weidman-featuredthe american Chris Weidman appears not to be intimidated by the recent comments made by the businessman of Anderson Silva, Ed Soares, about the reduced size of his name in the world of MMA. As soon as he found out about the campaign promoted, this Wednesday (30), by Soares to face the “Spider” on Brazilian soil, Weidman went to the Twitter and readily accepted the challenge.

“Ed Soares told Brazilian TV today: 'Fight with Anderson Silva in Brazil, Weidman'. I would love. I’m ready to sign,” the 28-year-old fighter posted on his account on the microblogging network. 

Chris Weidman He has been fighting MMA professionally since 2009 and has won all nine of his fights. In the UFC, with whom he has had a contract since 2011, there were four fights and, consequently, four victories over: Jesse Bongfeldt, Tom Lawlor, Demian Maia and Mark Munoz. The North American has been considered the main challenger for the middleweight title, which the Brazilian has Anderson Silva as champion. However, especially in the opinion of businessman Ed Soares, Weidman's name is not seen as ideal for the “Spider's” next belt defense.
