In a weekend with three title fights, Megan anderson could be the highlight of UFC 259, if you shock the world and overcome Amanda nunes. 'The Lioness' opponent on Saturday, for the featherweight title (up to 65,7kg), the Australian will face the biggest challenge of her career, but anyone who thinks that the challenger feels intimidated by her rival is mistaken. In an interview with 'ESPN', the combatant revealed her weapons to beat the Bahian.

“She is a phenomenal 'hammer'. When she finds herself in the fight, she is difficult to stop. But she never spent much time being the 'nail', working in difficult positions. (…) She doesn't do anything flashy, which makes her a little predictable. (…) It doesn’t go well when she’s not being the aggressor,” Megan said.
Former Invicta FC champion, Anderson, therefore, knows what she has to do to emerge victorious this weekend. According to the challenger, her strategy is designed to frustrate the Brazilian's plans, using stand-up fighting.
“I just have to go out there and do what I do best. I'm good at setting traps, at deceptive work. My technique is different from any other striker (stand-up fight)”, he concluded.
If she beats Amanda, the Australian will be the fourth athlete in history to hold the featherweight belt. In addition to the achievement, Megan will interrupt Nunes' undefeated streak, which has lasted more than six years (11 consecutive victories).
