Close to the fight, the athlete received weight support from those who had already experienced a similar situation. In an interview with the website 'MMA Junkie', the former UFC welterweight champion (up to 77kg), pointed the way to Megan's good performance. GSP's tormentor, the former fighter encouraged Nunes' rival for this weekend's commitment.
“At the end of the day, it’s a struggle. The critics, the people who think you're going to be destroyed, there's only one other person locked in there with you, so you can control your own destiny.
