Famous for his physical shape, Anthony Johnson appears 'smaller' before his Bellator debut

New star of the organization, North American appears 'dry' in photography; fighter faces Yoel Romero on April 16

One of Bellator's biggest signings for the 2021 season, Anthony Johnson continues his preparation for his debut in the organization. Just over a month before his debut, on April 16, when he faces Yoel romero, the North American appeared thinner than usual. Representative of the light heavyweights (up to 93kg.), the 'Rumble' has always stood out for his great physical shape.

A UFC standout for years, Johnson moved to Bellator at the end of 2020. At the time, the athlete surprised some MMA enthusiasts, as many expected his return to action would happen in Ultimate.

Former title challenger in the under-93kg category. in the organization chaired by Dana White, 'Rumble' has not performed since 2017. After the defeat to Daniel Cormier, in the fight valid for the belt, Anthony decided to interrupt his career.

In 2019, however, Johnson began to show signs that he would resume his career in MMA. The return will take place almost exactly after a three-year hiatus.

At 36 years old, Anthony now has 22 wins and six losses in 28 fights as a professional in mixed martial arts.
