Defeated on the main card of UFC Las Vegas 20, held this Saturday (27), in the United States, Jimmie rivera will carry for a few days a memory of Peter Munhoz. Victim of the Brazilian's low kicks, the American left the octagon with impressive swelling in his legs. Despite the obvious injury, Rivera and Pedro had one of the best fights of the night. In the same way, the Brazilian Mayra Sheetara also did some damage. Montana De La Rosa left the show with a deformed face

In one of the breaks between one round and another, Rivera revealed the discomfort in his left leg to the coaches. Loudly, the American admitted that he was in a lot of pain in the area.
“My calf is killing me,” Jimmie said.
Rivera's defeat prevented the American from recording his second positive result in a row. With the setback, the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg) now has three defeats in the last five fights.
Unlike his opponent, Pedro put an end to the bad phase in his recent record. With two defeats in a row, the São Paulo native came under pressure into the match, but, with the triumph, he returned to the radar for a future title fight.
The clash between Pedro and Rivera marked the repeat of a clash held in 2015. On that occasion, the Brazilian ended up losing in a split decision from the judges.
