After his brilliant debut in Ultimate, when he beat Dan Hooker by knockout, Michael chandler does not hide the confidence for a positive future. Victorious in UFC 257, the American has put himself in a great position for a title fight. On the front line, the former Bellator, however, caused controversy by minimizing the dangers for his likely opponents.

I’m more confident now”, said the athlete, in an interview with podcast 'Bussin With the Boys'.
Hired by Ultimate in the second half of 2020, Chandler arrived at the organization to further move one of the most competitive categories in the sport. With little time in the company, the former Bellator champion was soon selected as an immediate reserve for the confrontation between Khabib Nurmagomedov e Justin gaethje, in October of last season.
Even though it is not used in UFC 254, Michael remained a stake in the company. The fighter's debut took place in January and, immediately, the fighter showed that he came with a great 'calling card', running over Hooker in the first round.
After a gala debut, Chandler now awaits confirmation for his next challenge. The combatant remains one of the favorites to compete for the category belt, which still belongs to the recent candidate, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
