Dana White reveals that Rampage received almost R$31 million from the UFC. 'You can't complain'

Rampagethe american Quinton Rampage Jackson ends his contractual relationship with Ultimate, this Saturday (26), after his match against the Brazilian Glover Teixeira at UFC on FOX 6. The fighter, who stated in several interviews that he was not valued in the organization, received the event's response at the press conference that preceded the show's fight program.

The franchise president, Dana White, guarantees that the salaries received by Rampage is one of the tallest among light heavyweights. The director revealed that Jackson pocketed more than US$15,2 million, around R$30,8 million, in the 11 fights he had in the UFC since 2007.

“The complaints of Rampage they don't upset me. He is an adult. I'm just surprised and sorry that he's doing things this way. I don't understand why he handles the matter like this. If you want to hate the UFC or me, feel free. Personally, I feel I acted correctly with Rampage. Since 2007, he has earned US$15,2 million with us, you cannot complain about this salary. But if Rampage he wanted $100 million and he thinks what he got is not enough, I can’t do anything else,” said White.

Despite the dissatisfaction of Rampage with the UFC, the president of the franchise guarantees that he is interested in talking to the fighter and discussing a possible renewal of the light heavyweight's contract.

“As long as the fight against (Glover) Teixeira is over, we can't discuss a contract renewal, but we'll see what happens. I just think he's doing it all wrong. Rampage has the talent to be one of the biggest MMA stars in the world, but when he has his head in order. When he is well, there is no guy who entertains the public more”, added the manager.
