Brazilian star in Ultimate, Jessica Andrade, Bate-Estaca, could make even more history within the organization. Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg), the woman from Paraná is confirmed as the next challenger for the women's belt. Valentina Shevchenko, for the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.). According to the company's president, Dana White, in an interview with 'ESPN', the confrontation will take place at UFC 261, confirmed for April 24th.

If she overcomes the dangerous Valentina, Jéssica will become the second UFC woman to win two titles in different divisions. Today, just Amanda nunes was successful in the feat.
Owner of the strawweight belt in 2019, Bate-Estaca ventured into the 56,7kg group. in October 2020. On that occasion, the woman from Paraná faced and won, with a tough knockout, Katlyn chookagian, which occupied first position in the ranking. After the triumph, the Brazilian took over her position and qualified to challenge the champion.
Flyweight champion since December 2018, Shevchenko will try to win her fifth title defense. So far, the Kyrgyzstani has dominated the division and is giving her rivals no chance of winning the throne.
