Dana confirms Jéssica Bate-Estaca as challenger for Shevchenko's belt at UFC 261

Brazilian star in Ultimate, Jessica Andrade, Bate-Estaca, could make even more history within the organization. Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg), the woman from Paraná is confirmed as the next challenger for the women's belt. Valentina Shevchenko, for the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.). According to the company's president, Dana White, in an interview with 'ESPN', the confrontation will take place at UFC 261, confirmed for April 24th.

Willing to attract even more of the fans' spotlight to women's MMA, White will put two of the greatest representatives in history face to face in a title fight. Against Shevchenko, Andrade will have the opportunity to join a select group of athletes from the company.
