Record holder for MMA appearances, with more than 300 fights, Travis Fulton was involved in serious confusion outside the sport. The fighter was arrested in the United States accused of child pornography. This week, the American was indicted by a federal jury for crimes involving sexual exploitation. The information was published by the newspaper 'The Courier'.

The news gained notoriety after Travis was seen at a hearing to discuss the case, last Friday (19). At the time, the fighter appeared in the US District Court in Cedar Rapids, in the state of Iowa, where he was responding to a case of domestic violence. There, new charges were filed.
According to statements obtained by 'The Courier', in 2020, the 43-year-old athlete tried to convince a minor to participate in a photo shoot. In addition to the sexual conduct, Travis was said to possess a device on which he would store images of a 12-year-old child.
While the case is investigated, the veteran will remain in detention and await a new trial. The session is scheduled to take place in April.
Before the accusations regarding his involvement with child pornography, Travis was facing charges of domestic violence. For the crime, Travis was accused of threatening and assaulting a woman, in an episode that allegedly took place in 2019.
With a record number of fights in mixed martial arts, Futon has not fought since 2019. Currently, his professional record totals 255 wins, 54 losses, 10 draws and one 'no result' duel. In total, the North American performed 320 times over 23 years.
