Alex Cowboy is left without an opponent and seeks a new opponent for UFC Las Vegas 20

The Brazilian would face Randy Brown this Saturday, but the American left the fight for reasons that are currently unknown

One of the Brazilian representatives of the UFC Las Vegas 20, which takes place this Saturday (27), in the United States, Alex Cowboy is looking for a new opponent. The athlete was scheduled to exchange forces against Randy Brown on the preliminary card of the show, but the North American ended up leaving the show for reasons that are, at the moment, unknown. The information was released by 'MMA Junkie'.

The presentation this Saturday would mark Cowboy's attempt to recover within the UFC. In his last appearance, the fighter from Três Rios (RJ) ended up submitted by the then debutant, Shavkat Rakhmonov, in October 2020.

Before the setback to Shavkat, Alex had two consecutive victories. Before that, however, the Brazilian had recorded three setbacks in a row. In this way, the welterweight (up to 77kg.), today, has four setbacks in the last six commitments.

It is not yet known whether Cowboy will be removed from this weekend's event or whether Ultimate will find a new opponent for Alex.
