Boxer Paulo Carvalho won an important victory this Saturday. The Brazilian, in the light flyweight category (up to 48 kg), beat Ghanaian Manyo Plange 21-12 and secured himself in the quarter-finals of the boxing competitions at the Beijing Olympic Games.
In his next fight, which could guarantee a medal for the Brazilian, Paulo Carvalho will face Cuban Yampier Hernandez.
