After the grand presentation of Kamaru Usman before Gilbert Durinho No. UFC 258, held this Saturday (13), in Las Vegas (USA), Dana White has no doubts about the champion's ability. In a press conference after the show, the 'big boss' of Ultimate surrendered to the Nigerian's talent, promoting the athlete to the level of the legendary Georges St-Pierre.

In addition to defending his title for the third time, Kamaru made history by beating the Canadian's mark of 12 consecutive victories in the category. Now, with 13, the Nigerian reigns supreme in the group. When analyzing the record broken by the champion, White was full of praise for the athlete.
“He (Usman) broke St-Perre’s record tonight. If this guy keeps winning, he'll become the greatest welterweight (up to 77 lbs.) who ever lived. It's a fact. Who he fought with and who he will fight with is undeniable”, stated the president.
Against Durinho, Kamaru ended up having difficulties in the first round. With technique and experience, however, the champion controlled the actions in the following rounds and overcame the Brazilian with a knockout in the third round.
The Nigerian now has 17 consecutive victories in his career and remains undefeated in his career in Ultimate. The 'Nigerian Nightmare' hasn't lost since 2013, when he suffered his first and only defeat in MMA.
