The famous fans reality show, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), you can now get an idea of the protagonists of the 29th edition of the series in the United States. That's because UFC president Dana White gave important clues about who the program's two coaches will be. Excited about the return of the attraction, the 'boss' spoke about the subject in an interview with 'Complex'.

“It’s coming, this summer (between June and September, in the United States). We will start filming in the summer. I can say that we are working with two guys who will be fun, in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.)”, confirmed the agent.
Although the names of the coaches have not yet been revealed, it is impossible not to consider two representatives of the category. With no fights scheduled, the former friends, Colby covington e Jorge masvidal they may be chosen to command the attraction.
Former companions in American Top Team (ATT), the athletes even negotiated a confrontation in 2020. The duel, however, did not get off the ground.
On the front line of the division led by Kamaru Usman, the athletes have been constantly teasing each other since Covington left ATT, due to relationship problems with the rest of the team. The fighters once considered themselves best friends and, today, with each declaration, they build a great rivalry.
Masvidal's last fight took place in July 2020, when the American agreed, at the last minute, to replace Gilbert Durinho and compete for the category belt against Kamaru Usman. On that occasion, 'Jesus das Ruas' ended up losing by points.
Covington, in turn, performed in September. In the commitment, the North American surpassed the former champion of the category, Tyron woodley, by knockout in the fifth round.
