After much speculation about Mike Goldberg's absence at UFC 155, held on December 29th, the official Ultimate narrator already has a date to return to broadcasts. He is confirmed for UFC on FOX 6, a show that takes place on the 26th.
Behind the scenes of the show, Goldberg's involvement in drugs was considered, but what is known is that the narrator was absent from his role, giving way to Jon Anik, for health reasons.
Between Goldberg's absence and return there was an event, UFC: São Paulo, which already had the narrator's absence confirmed. This is because the events categorized as FX and Fuel TV are narrated by Jon Anik, Goldberg's replacement in December, and comments by Kenny Florian – and not Joe Rogan, as in numbered events. It's good to remember that UFC: São Paulo is UFC on FX 7.
