"Conor McGregor, instead of US$50 million, I have US$10 thousand (about R$54,7 thousand) for you, in cash”, said Paul, who couldn’t contain his laughter.
With over 20 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, Jake has gained fame for his boxing challenges. In November 2020, the influencer was one of the main attractions at the event headlined by Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. On that occasion, Paul faced former NBA player Nate Robinson and won with a brutal knockout in the second round.
After beating the basketball player, Jake started investing in an attempt to attract the attention of McGregor, who is known worldwide for collecting million-dollar figures in his presentations.
The confrontation against Dustin poirier marked Conor's return to MMA after a year. In the clash, the Irishman ended up being knocked out in the second round, something that had never happened in his career.
