The premiere of Michael chandler in the octagon it couldn't be better. The former Bellator champion was not aware of Dan Hooker and knocked out the New Zealander, number 6 in the lightweight rankings, in a brutal way. The fight was an attraction in UFC 257, held this Saturday (23), in Abu Dhabi.

Even though he had a huge disadvantage in terms of size, Chandler was not intimidated and was hunting Hooker from the first second. Despite the New Zealander spinning around the Octagon, the North American only needed one opportunity to close out the victory. He placed a gain on the belt line and, with a left cross, sent his rival to the canvas. With a few more punches on the ground, he forced the referee to stop the fight and declare a technical knockout.
