Tafa, who started the match better, like the Bahian, showed a lot of determination throughout the match. Accepting the open fight against a boxing specialist, the Australian was an important player in the confrontation that is a serious candidate for the 'Fight of the Night' bonus.

The fight

The duel started with Boi taking the initiative with a low kick. Tafa responded in kind. The Australian started to focus on kicking Carlos' waistline. In one of the moments, the Brazilian managed to hold one of his rival's legs and countered with the same blow. Halfway through the round, Boi started to provoke his opponent, indicating that he did not feel his opponent's attacks. Justin continued attacking the Bahian with kicks to the legs and waistline. In the final moments, a low kick unbalanced the Brazilian, but Boi continued to move forward and tried to surprise his opponent with overhands. The assault ended with the athletes exchanging blows in the center of the octagon.

In the second stage, Tafa started the action with a jab to the Brazilian's face, but Boi responded with a series of punches that forced his rival to walk back. The Bahian landed a powerful overhand on his opponent's face, but the Australian showed great ability to absorb the blows. After receiving a clean hook to the belt, Carlos again provoked his opponent, claiming that he didn't feel the attack. Boi tried to surprise his opponent and, despite suffering from the Australian's precise jabs and rights, he continued 'chasing' Justin around the octagon. Near the final minute, Tafa hit Carlos with a cross, but Boi managed to shake his opponent with a series of punches. With an advantage, the Bahian started to pressure his opponent against the bars and tried to take advantage of the situation. Towards the end of the duel, the athletes started to exchange franks, but there was no more time.

Carlos returned to the last round, applying a cross in the opening seconds. The Brazilian called his rival to 'fight' and opened gaps for counterattacks. The athletes remained aggressive with an exciting exchange of blows. Justin struck with hooks and crosses and Boi responded in kind. Halfway through the round, Tafa used his strategy to try to score over the Brazilian and take less risk. The Australian sought a grappling fight and started to pressure the Bahian against the bars. Carlos managed to explode and got out of the disadvantaged position. Near the final minute, Tafa managed to take down Boi, but the Brazilian got up easily. With the protagonists visibly more tired, the confrontation ended up losing action in the final seconds. The fighters, however, gave their last shot and exchanged punches again in the center of the octagon, while the audience in the arena cheered. The confrontation ended with the fighters applauding.
