The beauty Ronda Rousey arrived at the UFC to make his name within the organization. Even before her debut in the Octagon, scheduled for UFC 157, on February 23rd, the blonde is already expected to earn a higher salary than some of the organization's champions.
According to information from the North American website “MMA Interviews”, Rousey will have a fixed purse of US$75, approximately R$153, and will receive twice as much if she wins her fight against Liz Carmouche. Additionally, she will have a share of the profits from pay-per-view sales. As a result, the values could approach US$500, the average salary paid to great champions such as Anderson Silva e Cain Velazquez.
Ronda's purse already exceeds the salaries of some UFC champions, such as Ben henderson, who received around R$80 thousand in his last fight, and Dominick Cruz, which earned approximately R$41 thousand in its most recent presentation.
Carmouche, Rousey's opponent, will have a considerably smaller purse. She will receive a salary of US$12 and has the same amount as a bonus for winning.
