New Ultimate favorite, Deiveson has gained popularity with his aggressive performances and provocative statements. Recently, the man from Pará made history by defending his belt twice in a span of 21 days.

Former owner of two simultaneous belts in Ultimate (flyweight and bantamweight), Cejudo announced his retirement in May 2020. On that occasion, the athlete, who is also an Olympic champion, defeated Dominick Cruz, defending the title in the under-61,2kg category. Still in the octagon, the American confirmed that he would leave the sport.

Even outside of MMA, Cejudo has shown signs that he could soon return to action. The athlete never denied his desire to face Alexander Volkanovsky for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.).

Recently, the 'Triple C' responded to Deiveson's provocations. Directing a message to the Brazilian and Dana Whitand, the former champion mocked the challenges faced by Pará, stating that he was the best of all.
