The Brazilian junior gypsy lost the heavyweight belt to Cain Velazquez at UFC 155, an event held last Friday (29), in Las Vegas, in the United States. But not even the harsh punishment suffered by the Tupiniquim athlete during the five rounds can take away the now former champion's good mood.

With his face less swollen, Cigano took advantage of his stay in the United States, where he will stay until the 14th, to visit his former rival and now friend Roy Nelson.
In the photo, released on Nelson's Twitter, the Brazilian is smiling, along with the American fighter's son.
“My son Jax wanted to check out his second favorite fighter. junior gypsy feels good and is ready for the new year,” he wrote. Roy Nelson on the microblog.

Cigano and Nelson faced each other at UFC 117, in August 2010, when the Brazilian dominated the duel during the three rounds and won the fight by unanimous decision from the judges.

Gypsy got it well, hahaha…
But the fight was strange, it suggested that he wanted to lose so as not to catch his friend Pézão in the next fights. At least that's what he gave to understand in his interview before the fight and in the fight too.
