Xande Ribeiro from Manaus won his four fights and is the champion of the Super Challenge Grappling, which ended recently at Clube Athletico Paulistano, in São Paulo.
To reach the final, Xande got past David Avellan, in this year's ADCC rematch, Cristiano Titi, André Galvão and Luis Big Mac, in the final, after the extra round. The victory guaranteed the fighter US$15 in his account, a prize given to the champion.
In third was Tarsis Humphreys, who defeated Galvão in the race for placement. The award for best submission went to Titi, for the triangle armbar in the fight against the Japanese Ryotaro Endo.
