This weekend, Antônio sought to erase the negative result of his debut in the organization. Against an opponent, who is compared to a 'reduced version' of Daniel Cormier, the man from Pará, however, was unable to develop his strategy and was dominated for almost 15 minutes. With the result, the Brazilian continues without winning in the company and has the warning signal on.

While Arroyo laments the new setback, Winn breathes more calmly. The friend from DC was coming off two consecutive defeats and is now moving away from the imminent risk of dismissal.

The fight

The confrontation began with Arroyo taking the initiative with a low kick, which rocked the American. Deron responded with a series of punches and then looked for his legs and tried to take down the Brazilian. Antônio managed to get up, but was immediately taken down by his opponent again. He got up for the second time, but ended up a victim of his rival's excellent wrestling, who managed to take him down for the third time. Arroyo got to his feet and connected with a knee and a right to the North American's face, who started swinging again. The Brazilian seemed to have found the best distance and started to touch his opponent with clean attacks to the head. At a disadvantage, Winn tried to take him down, looking for the left leg of the man from Pará, who managed to get up. In the final seconds, the Brazilian attacked Deron again with attacks, but the round ended with his opponent once again on top.

In the second stage, Winn returned to the duel betting on takedowns. In the opening seconds, the fighter managed to take down the Brazilian. Arroyo got up again, but found it difficult to defend himself from the North American's attacks. Even scoring points with the Brazilian's takedowns, Winn did not evolve in the transitions and continued to undermine the momentum of the Pará native, who, little by little, showed signs of wear. Once again knocked down, Antônio no longer defended himself with the same precision as in the first assault and remained at a disadvantage.

In the last stage, more of the same. In the opening seconds, the Pará native was taken down by the North American. On the ground, without much action, Winn 'cooked' the fight, while the Brazilian no longer had as much strength to react. With his 'last breath', Antônio got up, but Deron didn't give up on his strategy, taking the Brazilian down once again.
