Protagonists of one of the best clashes in the history of flyweight (up to 56,7kg.), Deiveson Figueiredo e Brandon Moreno were awarded the 'Fight of the Night' bonus in the UFC 256. In the last presentation of the event, held this Saturday (12), in Las Vegas (USA), the athletes promoted a real battle in the fight for the division title. After the draw, the combatants took US$50 (around R$253,5) each. Kevin holland e Raphael Fiziev they took the same amount for their performances. Faced with a rival with sharp hands and impressive resistance, the Brazilian left everything in the octagon and maintained his position as group leader after a draw in the judges' majority decision. Against the Brazilian, the North American, who completed his fifth fight in 2020, took advantage of his rival's oversight and scored a brutal knockout against the veteran, who succumbed in the first round.
Another Brazilian opponent left the event with a full wallet. Opponent of Renato Moicano on the preliminary card, Raphael Fiziev overcame the Tupiniquim with a devastating knockout in the final minute of the first round. Even with controversies regarding the – for some – premature interruption by the referee, the Kyrgyz had a great performance against Renato, who was fighting in his second fight at lightweight (up to 70,3kg).
