the american Forrest griffin was forced to leave the UFC 155 card, an event scheduled to take place on December 29, in Las Vegas, in the United States, due to a knee injury, sustained during training. The joint problem forced the former light heavyweight champion to undergo surgery before Christmas.
Even with the problem on the eve of a festive date, Griffin didn't take away his good mood. On his Twitter account, Forrest posted a photo of his very swollen knee after the surgery.
“That’s what you get for Christmas when you’re disobedient,” wrote the former champion on the microblog.

Earlier this month, while training for UFC 155, Griffin suffered a torn MCL and a strained ACL. The injury took him out of the fight against Phil Davis.
