Ildemar Marajó and Arinaldo da Silva win the belts in the Jungle Belt

O Jungle Fight debuted in the south of the country in style. Eight thousand people filled the Tesourinha gymnasium, in Porto Alegre, on Friday night (21), to watch the 47th edition of the show that crowned Ildemar Marajó and Arinaldo da Silva as champions of the event.

Marajó defeated Itamar Rosa, thus winning the GP and title in the middleweight division, up to 84 kg, while Arinaldo beat Sidnei ‘’Abedi’’, taking the GP and belt in the flyweight division, up to 57 kg. The one who also lifted the male audience and put on a show of their own was the ex-BBB member, Laisa Portela. Her role was to parade over the Jungle Arena and announce the rounds of each fight.

In the first of the night's two title fights, Arinaldo da Silva from Rio de Janeiro gave no chance to Sidnei “Abedi” from Rio, in the final of the flyweight GP. Aggressively, he started by cornering Abedi against the fence, then applied a beautiful takedown and, finally, landed a guillotine choke, ending the fight in less than a minute. Arinaldo becomes the organization's first champion in this category.

In the main fight of the event, not even the opposing vibe from the public was able to stop the Pará native, Ildemar Marajó. With his boxing up to date, Ildemar landed good blows, knocking down the home fighter, Itamar Rosa. On top, the man from Pará continued striking and hurting the gaucho's punch, until the referee interrupted. After seven consecutive victories in Jungle Fight, Ildemar finally won the much-fought middleweight belt
