In an interview with Tatame TV, the heavyweight, Fabricio Werdum confirmed his contract renewal with the UFC and has already announced his return to the octagon and even his possible opponent.
“I’ll return to the UFC on October 25th (at UFC-90), probably against (Júnior) Cigano. The opponent is not yet completely defined, but it is certain that I will fight on October 25th”, stated Werdum, who said that after this fight he should fight for the belt.
“It was a requirement (to fight for the belt) when renewing my contract, if I win this fight, in the next one I will fight for the UFC title”, concluded the black belt.
