Although he expressed his desire to continue fighting, the name of Anderson Silva remains discarded by the promoters of some of the largest martial arts organizations in the world. After being 'ignored' by Bellator, PFL and ONE FC, 'Bare Knuckle FC' was another organization that expressed no interest in signing the MMA legend. In an interview with 'BJ.Penn.com', the company's president, David Feldman, showed respect to the 'Spider', but does not intend to invest in the 45-year-old athlete.

“At this point, we are not interested in Anderson Silva competing for BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship). We need to focus on building our fighters that are already here,” Feldman said.

The biggest name in the history of the middleweight (up to 83,9 kg.) in MMA, and one of the best fighters of all time, Silva performed for the last time at the end of October, when he faced Uriah Hall. On that occasion, the Brazilian ended up defeated by knockout in the duel that sealed his farewell to the UFC.

One day after the setback, 'Spider' used social media to confirm his retirement from the sport. Shortly afterwards, however, the athlete reversed his decision and stated that he wanted to continue fighting. The athlete even managed to reach an amicable termination with the UFC, as he still had one more performance left in his contract.

It is important to highlight that, even with the rejections, Anderson did not suggest his transfer to any organization that had commented on a possible negotiation. The athlete continues to recover and recently highlighted that he will take advantage of his free time to analyze his future.
