After Bellator and PFL, ONE Championship also denies interest in signing Anderson Silva

Chatri Sityodtong, president of the organization, considers the Brazilian one of the best in history, but is concerned about the fighters' safety

Nothing like one day after another. If Anderson Silva he had everything he wanted when he boasted his records when he was UFC middleweight champion (83,9kg), precisely at the end of his career, he seems to have become persona non grata in the MMA community. Upon being released from his contract with the UFC, 'Spider' celebrated and thought it would only be a matter of time before he found a new organization, but the opposite happened. In addition to Bellator and PFL, ONE Championship also reported that it has no interest in the veteran.

In a statement sent to the North American website fightful, Chatri Sityodtong, president of the Asian company, like others, praised the Brazilian, but informed that the health of the athletes is a priority for him.

“I'm a big fan of Anderson. Without a doubt, he was one of the best in history. That said, athlete safety is priority number one at ONE. As such, we will not seek services from him. I wish Anderson much happiness and success in everything he does from now on,” said Sityodtong.
