One of the certainties that MMA fans have is that the rivalry between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier there will be no end. Even retired, the former UFC light heavyweight (93kg) and heavyweight (120,2kg) champion does not forgive his disaffection over the doping-related episode. Recently, 'DC' excluded 'Bones' from the competition for best fighter of all time, due to this controversy, Jones responded on his social networks and the discussion didn't stop there.

“You know what I don’t understand about Jones? I don't understand how he says he proved his innocence. He never proved it and USADA never said he was innocent. I don't understand how Jones can say this publicly and how people believe him. He was never innocent. I can't stand Jones. Retired or not, seeing him publicly still irritates me,” Cormier said.

Currently, Daniel Cormier acts as a commentator and, therefore, discussions with Jon Jones happen, because you have to give your opinion about what is covered in the programs. The athletes faced each other twice and 'DC' didn't do well. In the first fight, held in 2015, Cormier was defeated by unanimous decision by the judges and, consequently, lost his unbeaten record. In the rematch, held in 2017, he was knocked out, but, as Jones tested positive for the substance turinabol, the fight was unsuccessful.
