The failure to make the weight cut and the defeat to Tim means No. UFC 255 did not cause Mike Perry rocked in Ultimate. After losing on the main card last weekend, the controversial fighter ended up being praised by his boss, Dana White, who gave signs that the North American should remain in the company.

“He’s always tough and fun to watch. What I like most about Mike Perry is that he really tried to win that fight (against Means). I don’t know what that means or where it’s going, but he’s a fun fighter,” said the president, in a press conference after the show.
Upon learning of his boss's words, Perry used social media to state that he will return more focused for his next presentation. One day before the fight against Tim, Perry exceeded the welterweight limit (up to 77kg.) by more than two kilos, being the only athlete in the UFC 255 failing to make a commitment to the scale.
“I’m going to train harder and harder. I will come back better than ever,” said the 29-year-old fighter.
Known for the aggressiveness with which he conducts his duels, Mike has been in the UFC since 2016. In 14 fights, there are seven positive results and seven negative results.
