The great presentation of Deiveson Figueiredo No. UFC 255, held this Saturday (21), in Las Vegas (USA) definitely excited the 'big boss' of the organization, Dana White. After seeing the man from Pará run over Alex Perez and win by submission in less than two minutes, the president evaluated the reign of the Pará native and compared the flyweight champion with the legendary Demetrious Johnson, legend of the category.

“This kid (Deiveson) is very different (from Demetrious). He is bad'. He enters the octagon with 'bad intentions'. I think people like this type of fighter more. Let's see how the journey goes. This could make him a legend. He has all the weapons, he can knock out, submit. He’s a scary guy,” he stated.
With five consecutive victories in Ultimate, Deiveson won the flyweight belt after brutalizing Joseph Benavidez twice. With the new positive result, the athlete now has 20 triumphs and only one setback in his career in MMA.
In the same interview, White confirmed that the Brazilian should perform later this year. The representative admitted to negotiating the clash between the Pará player against Brandon Moreno, who also won the UFC 255.
