After giving a show at UFC 255, held this Saturday (21), in Las Vegas (USA), and make his first defense of the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.), Deiveson Figueiredo is close to having his next fight made official. In a press conference after the show, Dana White responded to the request made by the champion after his victory over Alex Perez and confirmed that the team from Pará will face Brandon Moreno in December.

“We are going to keep him here (in the United States). We will not let him return to Brazil. (The fight should take place) in December. That’s what we’re working on,” said White.
With the plan to put the champion into action in less than a month after UFC 255, Dana did not hide his admiration for the Brazilian's performance in the main fight. In the confrontation against Perez, Figueiredo needed less than two minutes to finish his rival and maintain the most desired position in the category.
“He was incredible today. It's fun to watch. He can knock you out, submit you. It's fun. (…) If you don't like him, stop watching fights. You need to find a new hobby,” he concluded.
With the triumph over Alex, Deiveson not only kept the belt, but also confirmed the good phase of his career. The athlete comes from five consecutive victories, with three submissions, one knockout and only one confrontation in the hands of the judges.
