Former American football cheerleader takes risks as an MMA fighter

Women's MMA is gaining more attention every day from fans, events and candidates for fighters. After the UFC made women's participation in the organization official, the girls began to dedicate themselves more diligently to the sport. This Friday, the beautiful Rachel Wray, who was a cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs, an NFL team (professional American football league in the USA), left her post to compete in MMA.

The blonde beauty has been a dancer and cheerleader since 2001, but left the role when she became addicted to fighting and started boxing to keep in shape.

I was absolutely horrible. This made me want to fight even more. I knew I had to make a choice between wrestling and cheerleading. I chose to fight,” Wray told the website “KCMMA".

“Everyone says, 'I would never expect you to be a fighter. Cheerleading suits you better', or 'Why did you give up cheerleading to hang around with sweaty boys?' I want to be an inspiration to other girls out there who want to fight, but think they can't”, added the beauty
