The athlete is confirmed to face Andrew Sanchez No. UFC 257, on January 23, still without an official location. The confrontation marks the third appearance of the Minas Gerais native with the company's gloves. The information was released by 'Combate'.

In the UFC since 2019, Sergipano wants to prove that he arrived in the company to stay. Revealed by 'Dana White's Contender Series', the fighter has won two consecutive victories since his official debut and doesn't know what it's like to lose in the company.

In his last fight, in September, André put on a real show against Bartosz Fabinski, submitting his rival in the first round. On that occasion, the Brazilian left the show with one of the US$50 bonuses (approximately R$265,5), given to the athletes with the best performances on each card.
