UFC on FX 6: Toquinho faces Hector Lombard tonight

Friday is not a traditional day for fights, but tonight Ultimate marks its return to Oceania for UFC on FX 6, an event that will be held in the city of Gold Coast, Australia. The fight program features the final of TUF Australia vs. United Kingdom, in addition to the dispute between the Australian team's coach, George Sotiropoulos, and the British team's coach, Ross Pearson in the main fight. The Brazilian Rousimar Toquinho will also have one of the most anticipated fights of the night against the Cuban Hector Lombard.

The only Tupiniquim representative on the card, Toquinho, enters the octagon against Lombard in a duel in which both athletes seek rehabilitation within the event. Based in Australia, Lombard will have all the fans behind him, but Toquinho, who had his training material lost on the long flight from Brazil to Australia, guarantees that nothing will take his focus away from the fight.

“They lost my material, but I am totally focused on the fight. That's not what's going to bother me. I am very well prepared, I did great training and I am very confident of a victory”, said the Brazilian.
