André Dida denies confrontation against Kawajiri

Former Chute Boxe, André Dida, stated that he did not receive any invitation to face former Shotto champion Tatsuya Kawajiri at Yarennoka, whose debut event is scheduled for December 31st in Japan.

“I wasn’t approached by anyone to do this fight. In fact, I'm not even training. Since the GP final I've been at a standstill, just doing a few light runs. I weigh 80kg, my holiday weight (laughs). My concern wouldn't really be the training but losing 10kg to fight”, explained the Hero's GP finalist, who showed interest in doing this fight in the future.

“I'm interested in facing him. A guy who has already beaten Buscapé and Vitor Shaolin is certainly a very good athlete. Getting guys like Kawajiri is always good for your resume”, said Dida
