Although Khabib Nurmagomedov remains firm in his decision to retire from MMA, the Russian has not yet managed to convince UFC president, Dana White or even his manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Even with the lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) reinforcing the idea in recent weeks, the agent surprised his followers with a publication suggesting the pupil's return for a farewell performance.

“30-0”, wrote Ali, on his Twitter account, making reference to the fact that Khabib may have one more fight to try to reach the mark of 30 appearances without any defeat.
The main reason for the lightweight champion to leave the sport early, at the age of 32, was the tragic death of his father in July this year. Coach, mentor and main supporter of the 'Eagle's' career, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov passed away due to complications from Covid-19.
After defeating Justin gaethje, UFC 254, held at the end of October, and unifying the category title, an emotional Khabib announced his retirement. At the time, the athlete, still in the octagon, stated that it makes no sense to continue without his father helping with his preparations.
Recently, Dana White gave hope to the fighter's fans, saying that he continues talking to the champion and believes in a return in the near future. Apparently, the Russian's manager follows the same line of thought as the Ultimate boss.
