Even though MMA is a violent sport and fighters want victory at all costs, that doesn't mean they hate each other. On the contrary, many athletes show professionalism and are able to separate reason from emotion. Rafael dos Anjos e Paul felder are examples of this good conduct outside the octagon. The pair will face each other in UFC Las Vegas 14, an event that will be held this Saturday (14), in the USA, and showed the fairplay that the community preaches so much.
The Brazilian was grateful that Felder agreed to face him, with less than a week to go before the fight takes place. In turn, the American returned the kindness, calling the former lightweight champion (70,3kg) a legend.

“We need more fighters like you, Felder. Thank you very much for agreeing to face me and save the event”, thanked Dos Anjos.
“It’s like they say: the show must go on! Dos Anjos is a legend. It’s moments like this that I’ll tell my grandchildren or when I have a son,” Felder responded.
Originally, Rafael dos Anjos would be the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 14 against Islam makhachev, but the Russian withdrew from the confrontation on Sunday (8) and, the following day, Paul felder was chosen as a last-minute replacement. Even with the fight being confirmed with less than a week to go, it will continue to have five rounds and will be valid at lightweight.

The show must go on as they say! This man is a legend. These are the moments I will tell my grandkids about. Or when Aisling tries to bring home a boy! #mainevent https://t.co/HU0IEMYaGG
