2020 has been a good year for Jack hermansson and his next appointment will be on December 5th, but the Swede had a scare. Originally, his opponent would be Darren till, but the Brit suffered an injury and was replaced by Kevin holland. However, it wasn't that easy for the UFC to find a new opponent.
On his social networks, Hermansson revealed that five middleweight athletes (83,9kg) refused to face him, praised Holland, his new opponent, informed that he is in excellent physical shape and, in the future, he still wants to fight Till, to define who is the best European athlete in the category.

“Till had to leave the fight and that's terrible, because the preparation is very good. I'm in the best physical shape in the world and I was really looking forward to fighting Till. I wanted to show you that I am the best midfielder in Europe and that I am the next true challenger in the category. What can I do? That things happen. I can only wish Till a good recovery. When I received the news, I asked the UFC for a new opponent, because the training is very good and I want to compete in one more fight this year. The UFC looked for fighters above and below me in the rankings and at least five refused to fight me. Only one was willing to fight and that is Holland. Currently, Jack hermansson, 32 years old, is in fourth place in the middleweight rankings. The Swede's last appearance came in July 2020, when he won Kelvin Gastelum by submission in the first round. 'The Joker' is going through a great phase in his career and has won five of the last six fights he has fought.
