No opponent for UFC Las Vegas 14, which takes place this Saturday (14), since Islam makhachev left the show, Rafael dos Anjos will have to keep looking for a new opponent. After challenging the newly hired Michael chandler to replace the Russian, the Brazilian had his request denied by the former Bellator champion.

“I'm not scared, but I have other plans,” Chandler wrote on his Twitter account.Twitter', answering a follower's question.
This weekend, if he finds a new rival, Dos Anjos will make his debut in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), where he enjoyed the best moment of his career. In the category, Rafael won the belt and defended his position as champion on one occasion.
Hired by the UFC to further increase competitiveness in the division led by Khabib Nurmagomedov, Michael ended up being an official reserve for the fight between the Russian and Justin gaethje, UFC 254. Even without being used, the North American, without debuting, already occupies a prominent place in the category and should face a top 5 in his debut.
The information that Makhachev is off this Saturday's card was released by 'ESPN' last Sunday night (8). The reason for leaving, however, was not disclosed.
