With credit in Ultimate, Gilbert Durinho expresses his desire to be a TUF coach

Return of the reality show for its 29th edition encourages Brazilian fighter, who already assisted Vitor Belfort in the first season of the format in Brazil

The success that the reality show Dana White Contender Series is doing in the MMA community opened space for the return of TUF, the main format created by the UFC. The last edition of the program was held in 2018, but the return for the 29th season has already been made official for March 2021. The program is a showcase for several fighters to put themselves on the market and also an excellent opportunity for established athletes to gain even more prominence as coaches.

Thinking this way, Gilbert Burns spoke out on his social networks. Durinho knows the responsibility that the role of coach requires, but he had no doubts when making himself available to the organization to star in the attraction.

The 29th season of The Ultimate Fighter will be made up of bantamweight (61,2kg) and middleweight (83,9kg) athletes. The selection of participants has already begun, but there is still mystery surrounding the coaches.

The importance of the traditional reality show is enormous for the UFC and it revealed important names, who ended up becoming champions of the organization in the future.
