The Brazilian junior gypsy He is not a fan of provocations before fights. With a calm style, the Brazilian talks little about his preparation for the duels, but his boxing coach, Luiz Dórea, spared no praise for his pupil who is in the final phase of training to defend his heavyweight belt against Cain Velazquez at UFC 155, an event that takes place on December 29th, in Las Vegas, in the United States.

“We are training a lot. I am happy with what is happening and we are going to close the year with a flourish”, said Luiz Dórea, in an interview with the Super Esportes website.

Dórea, who was in Belo Horizonte to launch his academy, made a point of highlighting the Brazilian's progress in MMA. For the coach, Velaquez will have difficulty putting his takedown game into action and is betting that the title will remain with the Brazilian.

“Velasquez will definitely have a lot of work to do. For him to be able to take down our champion, he will first have to go through Cigano’s sharp boxing,” said the coach. “You will be surprised. Today's Gypsy is stronger and faster than ever. God willing, this title will remain in Brazil for a long time”, he added.

  1. VELASQUEZ WILL SLEEP THE SLEEP OF THE DEFEATED. GYPSY IS AT A LEVEL ABOVE AVERAGE AND IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME FOR SOMEONE TO EMERGE WHO CAN MEASURE FORCE WITH HIM.

I agree with Dórea. The only one who would have a chance would be Jon Jones.

poor Jon Jones in the hands of Cigano, if it were Anderson Silva I would remain silent, because he is the only one that I am sure can beat the current Cigano of today...
