Brazilian Killys Mota was involved in a controversy last Thursday (5), when he appeared at Bellator 251, in Uncasville (USA). In the fight against Derek Anderson, the São Paulo native ended up being the victim of a 'goal shot', which was decisive for his defeat by knockout. After analyzing the images, the judges understood that the coup was legal.

The confusion began after, at first, it was understood that Anderson kicked Mota in the face when the Brazilian was in the three-point position. If confirmed, Derek's attack would be considered prohibited.
In slow motion (see below), it is possible to see that, when he is kicked, Killys was preparing to get up, and his knees do not touch the ground. The situation, then, favors the North American, who had his triumph declared after moments of tension.
With the positive result, Anderson, who represents the welterweight division, confirmed the good phase of his career. Now, the North American has three positive results in a row.
Mota, meanwhile, is 50-50 with the Bellator gloves. So far, the Brazilian who debuted in the company in October last year, has one defeat and one positive result.
