One of the protagonists of UFC Las Vegas 13, which takes place this Saturday (7), Thiago Marreta recorded the meeting with Glover Teixeira ahead of this weekend's fight. The athletes showed respect and promised excitement in the confrontation that could define the next challenger for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg).

“That sincere conversation between two Brazilian warriors who are going to fight, but, above all, respect each other”, wrote Marreta, on his 'Instagram' account.
In the images (see below), you can hear Glover predicting that the dispute will be exciting. Without provoking his opponent, the Minas Gerais native states that the confrontation is unlikely to go to the judges' decision.
“We don’t talk, man, we go there and do it. Both are aggressive. It certainly won’t go to the fifth (round)”, said Teixeira.
The duel between Marreta and Glover, two of the main combatants in the under-93kg category, could guarantee one of the athletes as the first challenger for the weight belt. Jan Blachowicz, who recently won the title.
In addition to the chance to compete again for the division belt, this weekend's clash will have a special flavor for Thiago. The confrontation with his compatriot will mark the return of the fighter from Cidade de Deus (RJ) to the octagon after more than a year of inactivity. Marreta was recovering from knee injuries suffered in his fight against Jon Jones, in July last year.
Today, Glover is ranked third in the light heavyweight division. Marreta leads the ranking, in first.
